Group Financial Controller – Future Finance Director
Through organic growth, an exclusive opportunity for a Group Financial Controller has arisen with a rapidly growing manufacturing firm based in Greater Belfast. Reporting into and learning from an inspirational CEO, you will hold responsibility for the hands on day-to-day management, planning and control of the firms finance function whilst working closely with the CEO on future strategic initiatives. This firm has an exceptional growth record, high profile global clients and will grow significantly over the coming months and years.
This is a hands-on FC role that will evolve at pace so that you become the Finance Director in a relatively short period of time (2 – 3 years). You will provide oversight and leadership across the finance department as it grows. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the delivery of all statutory and financial accounts as well as having experience with ERP and MRP systems. As the business grows, management reporting plays a key role in helping the firm become more and more profitable. In support of this, you will provide insight that helps the business understand the drivers to their financial performance.
Ideally you will be a professional, hungry, humble and passionate accountant looking to contribute significantly to the growth and development of the company. You will need to be a chartered accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), who has proven experience working in a manufacturing environment as well as having the commercial partnering skills to impact performance across the business. Your finance experience will need to be broad, encompassing financial accounting, management accounting and commercial analysis.
