Our client is a dynamic and progressive manufacturing business with a reputation for excellence and innovation.  Due to continuing growth and expansion, the business has retained the services of Forde May Consulting to recruit a Senior Operations Leader.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the Operations Leader will guide and supervise the work of the Construction Materials Team. You will be responsible for designing business strategies and managing all day-to-day operations to guarantee company efficiency with full P&L responsibility.

To carry-out this challenging role, applicants must have significant experience in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment, where quality and reliability are pre-requisites and world class standard of efficiency and hygiene are common place. Experience must include direct responsibility for leading manufacturing plants.  Candidates should be able to demonstrate successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within a demanding high-quality manufacturing environment.

Candidates must have strong leadership, influencing, negotiation and presentation skills, the ability to plan and stay one-step ahead and be self-motivated and adaptable. Applicants should have experience working in a pressurised environment with the ability to keep calm under pressure and go the extra mile to deliver results within deadlines.

It would be advantageous should applicants have experience of modular/pod construction, and/or those with a broad knowledge of building regulations and construction/fit-out methods.

Our Client is a Division of a well-known and highly successful Northern Irish Group, which has been supplying the construction industry in Northern Ireland for more than 60 Years.

As part of on-going expansion, the business would like to recruit a new Sales & Marketing Director.  The role will focus on leading the sales and marketing team and all its activities across all the sectors the business operates in.  This will encompass developing new markets, introducing new products/services and growing sales and profitability across the operational territory.  The job holder will also be responsible for formulating strategy, forecasting sales growth.

 

You will have at least 5 year’s recent and relevant experience in construction material sales, the ability to win new business, and be strong on client relationship management.  The marketing aspects of the role include promoting the company profile, brand awareness, together with social media and PR management.

 

You will need to have a strong commercial acumen with the ability to stay ahead of the competition through market intelligence and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.  Results orientated, self-motivated and disciplined together with excellent interpersonal/communications skills all are essential for success.
