Logistics Director

Forde May Consulting are in partnership with a growing manufacturing firm who are seeking a Logistics Director to take the business forward in their growth strategy.

A new position has emerged for an experienced and confident Logistics Director. This firm is a prestigious and highly reputable organisation at the forefront of its industry. They have an international presence in their sector and have a reputation of superior customer service with outstanding operational performance, through their adaptability and focus for their clients. This role is a crucial position within the firm, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure exceptional delivery as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity and as a result you will have significant experience and exposure in managing all aspects of a logistics division for a growing organisation. You will have the ability to build strong relations across the business globally to leverage advantages for the business division. You must be able to lead, manage and develop teams across the department; ensuring targets are met and ideally exceeded.

You will have the experience and confidence to take responsibility for all aspects related to the logistics and warehousing, as well as possessing the skills to future-proof the capacity planning in line with the overall organisational strategy.

Person:

In order to proceed with this position, you must ideally be able to demonstrate extensive Logistics and Supply Chain Management experience in a multinational manufacturing organisation. You will hold a relevant recognised professional qualification and have proven leadership experience in a fast moving medium-high volume organisation. You will have confidence in your ability and proven experience as a successful Logistics Director.
